About Christine

Christine McHugh is a life coach and a professional stage director with 20+ years in theatre. She combines her experience in these two arenas to facilitate people’s exploration of their identity, how to tell the story that best serves them and how to bring this story to a wider audience. Her experience with dramatic literature makes her adept at developing scripts and adapting written works such as biography and self-help nonfiction by utilizing the unique storytelling effects available within the theatrical palette.
She’s taught Improv in SF for eight years with ImprovWorks and she has an MFA in Theatre from the University of Illinois with a long history of teaching, performing and directing. Her coaching training is through the Coaches Training Institute and Byron Katie's School for the Work. She has managed to bring all of her passions together in helping people to tell the stories of their lives through the medium of solo performance.
